Customer feedback on Opti-Pack Ultralight Fins, "I just received your new fins and I can't believe how light they are. When I picked up the box on my doorstep I thought it was something for my wife...then I saw the label. My next thought was that there was a problem with the order...no way there was a set of fins in the box...the box was way too light...right?...Wrong! I was shocked. Looks to be a great balance of durability and light weight. Super excited....Just thought I'd let you know how it went. I live in Southern California so I fish the salt water bays quite a bit. Went out yesterday in my float tube. I usually use the Outcast regular fins. Conditions were pretty calm, but with a good amount of tidal flow...not ripping, but moving. I started the day with my regular fins, then switched to the Opti-Pack fins and fished for about another 20 minutes. I pushed against the tidal flow and into the light breeze, and just generally tried to give them a good test. Performance wise, they are every bit as good as my current fins. They are better in that they are light weight, something you can feel just sitting in the tube. The slight bit of flex in the blade is noticeable, and appreciated. They feel like they take much less effort to use...I'm guessing due to the lighter weight. They are easy to put on and take off. I can do so when I'm already seated in the tube, which means I won't have to walk backwards in them to launch. Bay fishing won't be my primary use for them, but it gave me a good test. Really happy with the fins!"
